Created in Houdini 19.0.383 LC. These were inspired by the wonderful kinetic sculptures by Anthony Howe. These can be found on his site as well as youtube.
In Kinetic Blink, one important point wrangle helps to artistically control the spacing of the points given that the spheres are changing pscale and resample only distributes based on distance. I found the following forum discussion and post to adjust the points via a ramp.
From forum post https://www.sidefx.com/forum/topic/39111/?page=1#post-236438
using a point wrangle to rebuild the curve shown in example named ramp_resample_w.hipnc
Other variations were created as a product of experimentation. In particular, Redshift strands were useful in rendering. Radial Chaos uses strands type cylinders while Circular Wave uses strands type box to flatten the surface and round corners added in the shader to prevent a harsh edge.
