Grading Rubric
Projects are graded more stringently than exercises. Meeting minimum requirements as specified in the exercise counts for 80 of the total grade.
Criteria
- Proper use of copy and copy stamping (or instancing)
- Procedural variation (no visually obvious repetition)
- Visual complexity and composition
- Complexity of technical aspects
- File organization / neatness
- Breakdown clarity
- Quality render
- Aesthetic / demo reel quality
- Proposal
- Ready for dailies / reviews
- Breakdown PDF
- Naming conventions followed
